I didn't receive a code when I created my BeTidy account. What should I do now?

Please check the spam folder in your email inbox. Depending on the provider, the email with the verification code could also have ended up here. Please also check whether your mailbox still has free space.

How do I delete my BeTidy account?

You can delete your account in the app via “Profile” -> “Account settings” -> “Delete account”.

BeTidy Pro & Subscription

Can I test BeTidy Pro for free?

Yes. Every variant of BeTidy Pro has a free 7-day trial period. If you no longer want to use BeTidy Pro, cancel the subscription 1 day before the trial period ends. To do this, go to “Pro” via the “Profile” tab and click on “Manage subscriptions” at the bottom.

Does every family member need BeTidy Pro?

No, BeTidy Pro only needs to be taken out once per family or household.
Up to 5 additional profiles can be created in the family account.

How do I cancel BeTidy Pro?

To do this, go to “Pro” via the “Profile” tab and click “Manage subscriptions” at the bottom. You can now cancel your active subscription here.

How do I add family members?

Family members with their own smartphone
1. Create a new family profile.
2. Do you want the profile not to be able to be changed on the new device? Then activate restricted access when creating the profile.
3. Download the BeTidy app on the device and log in with the family account credentials.
4. Select the desired profile.

Can I change the order of the rooms?

Yes. To do this, go to the edit icon in the “Home” tab at the top right. Long press on the three lines next to the respective room and move the lines as you wish.

How do I add a room? / How do I delete a room?

To do this, click the edit icon in the top-right corner of the “Home” tab. There, you can enable or disable the preset rooms. If a room isn’t listed, you can add a new room using the “+” icon in the top-right corner. You can then set the room type to “General.”

On which devices can I use BeTidy?

You can use BeTidy on iPhones, iPads and Android devices.

How can I change the language in the app?

By default, the app uses your device’s language settings. However, you can change the language manually at any time:

Android

  1. Open the app
  2. Go to Profile
  3. Tap Account Settings
  4. Select Change Language

iOS

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  2. Tap Apps
  3. Select the BeTidy app
  4. Tap Preferred Language
  5. Select your desired language

If your preferred language isn’t listed under “Suggested Languages,” you’ll need to add it to your iPhone first. You can find instructions here:

You can then repeat the steps described above.

Important Note

Rooms and tasks that have already been created will remain saved in the originally selected language and will not be automatically translated.

You have two options:

  • Manually adjust the content
  • Or delete your account and create a new one

⚠️ If you delete your account, all saved data, settings, rooms, and tasks will be permanently lost.

Technology & Troubleshooting

The widget no longer works - what can I do?

If the widget no longer works properly, please try the following steps – preferably in this order:

  1. Remove the widget from your home screen and add it again.
  2. Log out of the app and then log back in.
  3. Restart your smartphone.

If the problem persists, please contact our support team – we will help you quickly!

The overall status is always showing 100%, even though I have overdue tasks.

The cleanliness score can only be calculated once a task has been checked off at least once. Only then does the app know the date the task was first completed and can use that interval to calculate when the task is due next. As soon as you check off the tasks, the calculation begins, and the overall status is adjusted accordingly.
